Since the age of 14, I've enjoyed choreographing
routines for myself and others. Creation has always
been a big part of dance for me. I love doing emotional
and experimental pieces that make people think or
simply entertain them. As a choreographer, it is my
job to represent the talent before me to the best
of my abilities. I encourage my dancers to challenge
themselves beyond what they know or think they are
capable of. I teach that versatility will get you
the dance career you want, while the ability to learn
quickly is a must. I believe in the necessity of dance
if it’s your passion to entertain or if the
music makes your blood so hot, you feel it deep inside
your soul. You don't have to step on others to be
successful. I try to guide individuals who wish to
dance in an honest manner. I give my dancers as many
opportunities as possible to perform professionally
and encourage all of them to be individuals and to
love themselves because it's their insides that glow
on stage. In order to make it, you must be driven
with a passion and desire for dance. It's been my
life, my dreams and my existence since I was five
years old. I hope to share what I love and what I've
learnt and found out along the way. Dance is a gift
that our parents have given us, be forever grateful.
It's truly the survival of the fittest, one of the
hardest professions. You train and work so hard for
the short moments of magic you feel on stage or that
simple pat on the back, before it begins all over
again. I wish all dancers good timing because I don't
believe in luck. I believe in hard work and preparations
so that when chance meets opportunity, you'll experience
success.
May all your dreams come true.
